Wallpaper
My current wallpaper. I'm REALLY ready for baseball. I took this photo at my last game of the year, September 22. That's the game some REALLY nice couple gave my friend and I front row tickets right next to the A's dugout. This is one of my favorite photos from that day, my two favorite guys. This was after Jason's first hit.

BORED
Yes I'm bored. I know it's neither Friday OR Tuesday, but I'm doing this anyway! The Friday Five1. Where do you currently work? The local school district, the complaint deparment (aka Human Resources) 2. How many other jobs have you had and where? LOTS. I'm going to count baby sitting. First, the summer I graduated from HS, I worked at Kmart for the summer. Two months. I went off to college, and worked as a softball umpire for a semester. When I was finished with college that year, I started working at State Farm Insurance, I was there for a year and a half. During that time, I started working at Petco (worked at both for 11 months). Then I started working at Prudential Realty, and worked there for five months (worked there and Petco for 5 months). I went back to college, and worked at Mervyn's for 7 months. For one of those months, I worked at Kmart again too. Back from college AGAIN and I worked at a flight training center for two years. I then moved on to my current hellish job, which I've been at for 21 months. 3. What do you like best about your job? The people I work with. The gals in my office (for the most part) are great. 4. What do you like least about your job? The fact that I get yelled at a LOT for things that aren't my fault. 5. What is your dream job? Towel girl for the A's...just kidding. I would like to work for a baseball team, but as not like an usher or food stand working, an office job where I could actually WATCH the games. This or That Tuesday1. Super Bowl or World Series?WORLD SERIES BABY! 2. Winter or summer?Winter 3. Look up numbers in the phone book, or call directory assistance?Phone book...except at work, then I used 411 4. Mashed potatoes or French fries? Fries with ranch 5. Hand-code your website, or use an editor (such as Front Page)?AOL Press with a little hand coding 6. Freeway or winding country road?Freeway if I'm in a hurry, but other wise I like the winding senic roads. 7. Star Wars or Star Trek?Star Trek 8. Disney or Warner Brothers cartoons?Disney. 9. When it feels chilly in the house: crank up the heat or put on a sweater?Put on a sweater. I don't have a heater 10. CBS or PBS?CBS. Can't live without CSI or As The World Turns!

Okay, I really like movies. But for some reason last year I didn't see many in the theater. I mean like five or less. I don't really know why. I'm sure part of it was I was in such a bad financial place last year. I would rather spend my money at a baseball game than a movie. But still, it's pretty sad when you love movies so much, and you can count the ones you saw on one hand. So what did I see in 2002? 1. Not another teen movie (my friends drug me, it was horrid) 2. Harry Potter & The Chamber of Secrets(love it, but then again, anyone who knows me already knows this ;) ) 3. The Ring (I really am a scardy cat, but I liked this one) 4. xXx (Vin Diesel, is there anything more to say? SWOON!) 5. Amelie (Such a sweet cute movie!) Well, we are less than three weeks into 2003, and I've already seen four movies. 1. Catch Me If You Can 2. Narc 3. LOTR: The Two Towers 4. A Guy Thing Of course, two of those were for my birthday. But today I was bored, so I decided to get out and go see A Guy Thing, all by myself. It was good. I really like Julia Stiles, and Jason Lee was very cute in this movie. I liked Catch Me If You Can. Good story, amazing that someone of his age could get away with even a LITTLE of that stuff. Narc was very good. I hadn't even heard of it, but my friend suggested it. The way it was filmed was awesome, and both Ray Liotta and Jason Patric were fantastic. The Two Towers...amazing. I'm usually in bed by ten, but we saw the late (well, 8:30) showing, and even I was able to stay awake! I liked the first one a lot, but a lot of the things confused me. After viewing the second one, I'm not as confused anymore. The visuals in the movie were great. There are a ton of movies I really want to see. Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Maid in Manhatten, Two Weeks Notice, Chicago, Star Trek, Just Married...tons more I'm sure. I watched Signs last night too...great movie, but NOT a great idea to watch at 11pm. I scared the shit out of myself. I had to wach the rest of Trading Spaces afterwards so I could sleep! I bought Amelie today too, so I'm going to watch that in a bit...YAY for DVD's!

What a GREAT birthday I had! I went with a couple of my friends and my parents to Chili's in Condord. It was packed, and we had to wait for a while, but we had fun while waiting. The food and drinks were YUMMY. I got some good stuff :) My DVD player, the Spiderman DVD, a Tigger Sweater, a nice candle, $200 cash, a tea pot, gift certificates to Target, Safeway and Sears. My sister is supposed to be coming down next weekend to take me out to lunch. We'll see ;)

Two days till my BIRTHDAY! YAY! I love, love, LOVE having my birthday. Well, actually I love any day where I get gifts. That means that tomorrow they will have a not so surprise surprise party at work. He, he, he...they aren't so good at keeping secrets. Not that I really mind. It's all very nice. So what do I want for my bday? Well, money, money, and more money :D Just kidding. SME would be nice, for my spring training trip. But I really want a fossil watch, some romance perfume, gift certificate to get some clothes (so I don't have to use my credit card who's balance is happily shrinking finally!) a DVD player, other wise I don't really care. Most of my family/friends know exactly what to get me anyways, so it's ALL GOOD. I'm actually happy to get anything. I'm supposed to be going out to dinner out tonight an also on Saturday when Edie comes into town. Her, my parents, my sister and her boyfriend. Maybe I can swindle some others too go. WHOOO HOOO. Also fan fest is FOUR WEEKS from Saturday. Can't wait for that. I hope it's cold and rainy so it will keep a lot of people away. It's always WAY to crowded anyways. I hope Eric, Eric, Mark, Mark, hell EVERYONE is there!
